Location: Cardiff and Newport
Hours: 35 per week (Monday-Friday)
Salary: £23,251 per annum
Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Cardiff and Newport. The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults and be able to provide high-quality care and support to our clients. The role will consist of supporting vulnerable adults within the Criminal Justice Service.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking safeguarding activities
- Develop safety plans with clients
- Maximise rent collection
- Maintain relationships with external forces eg the police, local authorities
- Ensure property maintenance is recorded and reported
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working with vulnerable adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS check required
