The Role
This is an exciting oppotunity to join our HR team. The focus of this role is to provide excellent HR administrative support for the business, covering all employee lifecycle processes, and providing additional guidance on all HR policies.The HR Administration Team are responsible for a general employee relations, employee lifecycle processes for c2,000 employees. Their main accountabilities include:
Employee record and contract amendmentsProcessing of starters and leaversAbsence processing, tracking and monitoringAny other pay related changesRTW and DBS checkingFirst touchpoint for employee query and relations management
The Team also provides process appreciation, training guidance and is a centre of employee knowledge and expertise for all Unite Functions, Properties and Departments.
What You`ll Be Doing
You will be reporting to the Senior HR AdministratorProcessing changes to Terms & Conditions accurately and in a timely mannerMonitoring the team`s shared Manage Engine, responding to questions and requests from colleagues across the business and prioritising tasks as necessaryProcessing and provision of payroll instructions for all contractual changes, new starters and leavers on a monthly basisMaintaining accurate record keeping - Using our HR Management system to an effective standard, ensuring that employee records are created and updatedAdhering to filing protocols in line with GDPR requirements including data deletionSupport of Line Managers to comply with internal people processesProduction of reference letters as requestedResponding and resolving of questions from colleagues across the businessContribute to achieving team KPIsOperate in a collegiate and supportive manner both within the HR Administration team and working closely with the wider People Team, Payroll and Line Managers as required to ensure the best possible service to our employeesWork collaboratively within the wider People Team and support with additional activity and/or project input as appropriate
What We`re Looking for in You
6 months or more experience in administration, ideally gained in an HR environmentA proven track record in the delivery of accurate data to tight timescalesA friendly, customer service focused approach, confident in speaking to colleagues of all levels across the businessA positive attitude with the ability to adapt swiftlyA good understanding of GDPR and working in a team environment where personal data is kept confidential, protected and secureAn ability to manage your own workload, prioritise tasks effectively and work to tight deadlines accuratelyIT capabilities in MS Office (Particularly Outlook, Work, Excel and One Drive) with the ability to quickly learn bespoke IT systems and toolsExcellent written and verbal communication with a confident manner when communicating via Microsoft Teams or a similar communication tool
