Contract type: Full-time (35 hours per week)

The Opportunity:
As HR Administrator you will provide exceptional administrative support to all staff within the Centre for Cardiovascular Sciences. You will work to a high degree of independence, using your comprehensive knowledge to deliver accurate and appropriate advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures. You will be the first point of contact for all People & Money system related queries providing specialist technical and troubleshooting advice and support to users.
This post is one year (maternity cover). We would be happy to consider secondments for applicants from within the University. Start date around 15 July 2024.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- HNC/HND or CIPD qualification, or work experience relevant to the role
- Good understanding of HR policy and practice
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to explain complex issues in simple terms
- Experience of delivering to deadlines using strong organisational skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail and skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint
