The Resourcing Team delivers a professional and expert resourcing service to departments, leads the design and development of related policy and procedures for the University, and provides advice on resourcing matters. The new HR Administrator position is a varied role where each day will be different, supporting the administration in the team in order to provide an effective and efficient service, including assisting with extensions beyond retirement, senior recruitment and global mobility activities. This could involve helping us prepare to exhibit at job fairs and advising managers and applicants regarding recruitment global mobility and retirement processes. Key Responsibilities This is a creative, hybrid role where you will be involved in various areas and help the continuous improvement of resourcing provision. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out general administrative tasks such as collating letters/documents for mailing, booking meeting rooms/accommodation, photocopying, filing/archiving, dealing with incoming and outgoing mail Monitoring progress in the retirements procedure, taking action when required. Performing recruitment-related tasks such as drafting and publishing adverts, collating applications, inviting candidates to interviews, obtaining references, and preparing supporting paperwork ahead of panel meetings.
