Full Time Contract
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a HR Adviser based in Catford. This is an initial 6 month contract with chance of extension and possibility of permanency at the end.
The client offer a hybrid working environment, working a minimum of 2 days a week from their offices in Catford.
Responsibilities include:

• To provide specialist, professional HR advice across all the clients directorates. The role will provide expert advice on employment legislation
• Support the delivery of services' priorities in all aspects of people management, and support to all managers across the Directorates on complex issues and cases, including organisational change, and employee relations case work
• Provide advice and support to managers on complex management of change issues including reorganisation/restructuring, redundancy/redeployment, outsourcing/TUPE, job evaluation and consultation processes.
• Represent HR as required at cross directorate and corporate meetings and working groups
• Provide advice on a variety of HR matters, making sure all is in line with policy and procedure
• Ad hoc duties as required

Skills and experience required:

• Experience in HR Advice, and knowledge and experience of working for a local authority required
• Successful track record as an HR practitioner in a complex environment/organisation required
• CIPD qualification required
