HR Advisor Vacancy, Rochdale / Office Based, £35,000
An industry leading manufacturer are seeking a HR Advisor. This is a newly created role and when successful you’ll be supporting the HR Team with the day-to-day function, providing advice and support to managers and their teams.
You’ll be joining a national business who have recently secured significant investment to drive growth, and part of that is to ensure their employees grow with the business through training and development.
As a HR Advisor you will be:
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation
- Supporting managers, you will provide advice and support on employee relation issues including absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievances.
- Supporting the investigation of all disciplinary matters, ensuring employment law and company policy are adhered to.
- Involvement with the recruitment cycle and supporting managers with the decision-making processes.
- Ensuring induction and onboarding are carried out correctly and in line with company policy.
- Maintain business compliance with accreditations and screening processes where applicable, including but not limited to BS7858, SIA and DBS screening.
- Responsible for administrating and inputting UK Payroll, working with Sage 50.
- Undertaking HR projects in line with the HR Strategy.
- Visiting other UK based sites on an ad-hoc basis, including Birmingham, Luton and Newport
