HR Advisor
6 month Temporary Contract
Preston based. Full time office base
We have an exciting opportunity to join the UK HR Team as and HR Advisor specialising in sickness & attendance management. This is a temporary role for a duration of 6 months with an immediate start.
This role will be the primary point of contact delivering a high quality and subject matter expertise service on sickness/attendance management.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Leads the delivery of sickness/attendance management activities by working closely with the business, Head of HR, HR Generalists, Shared Service HR Team and Occupational Health.
- Conducts and lead on sickness absence cases in line with the Company s sickness absence policy and procedures.
- Administers sickness absence documentation and updates the HR Absence Systems
- Performs routine tasks to execute sickness absence initiatives. These will mainly be be day to day and potential project work.
- Provides expertise on sickness absence related enquiries from employees, HR and management.
- Maintains compliance with employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews the sickness absence/attendance policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in sickness absence
- Delivers reporting/data to provide insights and enable decision making.

- Candidates must meet requirements for BPSS security clearance
Education and Experience:
Essential to have experience of working in Human Resources within sickness/attendance management and/or has a HR related qualification
