AWE is currently recruiting for an HR Advisor to work within the HR Training Hub to provide efficient and effective HR advisory services. You will be the first point of contact to support the business, working to agreed service levels and delivering a customer centric service.
Location - Reading / Basingstoke Area
Salary: £28,530 - £30,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

Successful Candidates will be responsible for:
  • Delivering efficient and effective HR advice to customers providing first point of contact services through HRIS, telephone, email and walk-ins and dealing with escalated issues
  • Leading the maintenance of local teamwork processes and documentation, drive service improvements and ensure stakeholders and customers are up to date with HR working practices
  • Building relationships appropriate to area of expertise in order to improve experience for customers
  • Ensuring HR related documentation (hard copy and electronic) is appropriately handled, managed and retained in compliance with data privacy regulations, including the archiving process; and ensure all correspondence and documentation produced is accurate, using approved templates
  • Ensuring local work instructions are followed to maintain process compliance and quality

Specific subject area training will be provided to successful candidates.
Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following:
  • CIPD level 3 or equivalent HR Qualification is desirable, or relevant HR experience
  • Customer service skills - essential
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience of working in a customer services environment delivering transactional tasks and providing first point of contact services
  • Experience of process improvement activities
  • Experience of working to SLAs and KPIs - desired
  • Experience of project working, ideally in an HR context - desired
  • Knowledge of Workday, SABA, Oracle or equivalent HRIS technologies - desired
