Job description

Job Title: HR Administrator

Location: Hailsham - onsite with free parking

Salary: £27,000 - £35,000

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm - flexibility with start and finish times

Benefits: 20 days holiday + BH (increasing with service) and private healthcare

As an HR Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department with various administrative tasks. You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient functioning of the HR operations and be the go-to person for employee queries.

About your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
  • Maintaining accurate employee records, updating databases, and managing employee documentation
  • Coordinating employee training and development programmes, ensuring that staff have the skills needed to excel in their roles
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Participating in HR projects
  • Working with department managers with notetaking and issuing of documents related to grievance, disciplinary, probation, etc.

About you:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification beneficial but not essential
  • Previous experience within a similar position or a strong interest in pursuing a career in HR
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels of the organisation
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations highly beneficial
  • Experience in recruitment and onboarding processes beneficial
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems with good all round IT skills
