Our client, a highly meaningful organisation based in Leatherhead, Surrey are building on their current HR team and this will be an excellent opportunity for a well organised HR Administrator who is passionate about delivering an efficient HR administration service for a local charity.
Previous HR experience would be an advantage, full training will be given with an opportunity to develop or further develop a career in HR. You will be part of a dynamic team providing support with all aspects of HR administration for 250 employees. Excellent customer service skills, confidentiality, effective communication, high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task will ensure you are an effective central point of contact for this busy team.
Job Purpose
To provide pro-active support to the organisation through the delivery of an effective and professional HR administration service. This includes:
- Being the central point of contact for the HR team.
- Providing administration support throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Ensuring effective confidential record keeping and the management of data and databases.
About the role
- The central point of contact for employee queries from across the organisation.
- Processes all employment administration throughout the employment lifecycle.
- Assists in the co-ordination of L&D activities and processes.
- Maintains the integrity of the employee database.
- Supports employee self-service for holidays and absence.
About you
- A team player, who is flexible and approachable.
- Well organised, a good communicator able to balance competing priorities.
- Able to work with autonomy and under pressure.
- Ability to apply high attention to detail to the work allocated.
- Familiar with and interested in working with databases.
- Experience of HR administration and processes would be an advantage.
