What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for a HR Business Partner to provide comprehensive HR Business Partnering services to Slough Borough Council, focusing on professionalism, efficiency, and effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include offering advice on employment legislation, policy, and procedures, as well as managing change and modernising services. The role involves working closely with various services and directorates, staying informed about priorities, challenges, and initiatives through management meetings.

Moreover, it involves providing creative solutions within HR frameworks, identifying and mitigating high-level risks in people management, and understanding and addressing political sensitivities within service areas. Additionally, you will be providing professional support and guidance to managers on employee relations issues, handling complex casework, and collaborating with trade unions to maintain effective relationships.
