HR & Compliance Coordinator
Part Time: 18hr per week
Salary: £32,240 full time equivalent
London based, hybrid role
We are looking for someone to bring enthusiasm, flexibility and a can do attitude to the team in this newly created role. You will be expected to act with integrity at all times, and be proactive, trustworthy and maintain confidentiality in a fast paced and interesting role in the charity sector.
This is role is a six month fixed-term contract and will be contractually based from our London office.
Please note that this role is not eligible for the Skilled Worker Visa Sponsorship
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Generalist HR Support: managing the day-to-day HR activity on the employee life cycle across the organisation, including contractual changes, family leave, absence management and learning & development, with the support of our HR Administrator.
- People Strategy: supporting with the delivery of employee engagement initiatives, including but not limited to annual salary review process, performance review processes and staff survey
- Learning & Development: working with Head of People & Compliance to create and deliver training to staff and line managers
- Recruitment & Onboarding: coordinating of recruitment processes from job postings to job offers, and onboarding and induction
- Compliance: supporting with accurate record keeping and data management, and proactively identify improvements to improve processes and policies
- Safeguarding: upholding safeguarding and child protection procedures consistently, including reporting safeguarding concerns and disclosures via the relevant channels.
Experience / Knowledge
- Good basic knowledge of employee relations and employment legislation
- Good basic understanding of GDPR and other data protection legislation
- Experience of HR Information Systems
- Proven experience of providing outstanding administrative support within a busy and high performing HR and/or Compliance team.
