What is the role?
Blackburn with Darwen Council are now looking to appoint an experienced HR professional to work closely with a number of schools in the Borough.
In this role, you will provide advice and support to Council Managers, Headteachers and Governing Bodies, focussing on employment guidance and employee relations issues, involving absence and performance management and disciplinaries.
How can you help?
- Provide support to senior managers on a wide range of core employee relations matters, including attendance, conduct, grievance and performance.
- Utilise your knowledge of employment legislation to advise and challenge around polices and procedures, ensuring best practice is followed.
- Employ strong organisational skills, arranging and conducting both informal and formal meetings and hearings.
