My client is a successful FMCG business and manufacturer of a diverse range of products for various industries and organisations. Established more than 25 years, this Poole-based company aims to be a market leader and the trusted provider of the niche products that they produce to the highest possible standards.
Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity to report to a driven, supportive HR Manager who I have met and placed in this role. This is a new HR Coordinator position due to exciting growth plans and the implementation of HRIS / Payroll / ATS systems that will improve the working practices and processes for all employees in future across the business.
As HR Coordinator, you will support the HR Manager to implement the HR strategy so that the business can achieve its aim of being an even greater place to work. This role will proactively use and develop our HRIS and ATS to drive HR process efficiency, legal compliance and enable management decision-making from accurate HR analytics and data.
This role will involve liaising with line managers, employees and job applicants providing basic HR assistance and support. You will coordinate and improve recruitment and HR processes across the employee lifecycle, actively supporting and training line managers and employees to use HRIS wherever possible. This role will liaise regularly with internal colleagues across the company including payroll, IT, health & safety, administration and 3rd party suppliers. The role provides comprehensive support to the HR Manager to develop strategic HR and recruitment, plus the retention of existing staff through employee engagement initiatives, training and management development.
Working hours: 37.5 / week, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (including 30 minutes lunch). This position offers hybrid working of 3-4 days office-based (Poole) vs 1-2 WFH per week.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience in an HR or People Administrator / Assistant / Coordinator role or similar (18 months+) and be CIPD Level 3 qualified (minimum).
You must be a highly organised person with a strong attention to detail and be happy to work collaboratively with colleagues across the business, communicating effectively at all levels. Experience in the FMCG, manufacturing or retail industry is preferred, but other sectors will be considered.
