HR Coordinator - Billericay, Essex

This role, situated within our dynamic back-office central services team, offers a unique chance to contribute to the smooth functioning of our HR department, collaborating closely with the HR Manager and Payroll Specialist.

The HR Generalist we seek will play a pivotal role in supporting all Darwin employees globally, ensuring they feel valued, well looked after and receive a professional HR experience. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years HR experience and likely be a CIPD studier or have the desire to proceed down that route.

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist Role:

  • Administrative tasks, including managing benefit schemes, new starters, internal changes, leavers, performance management, disciplinary matters, appraisals, updating HR documents, emailing, scanning, diarising, tracking important details, and ad hoc letter writing and form completion.
  • Ensuring compliance with right-to-work checks in each country.
  • Maintaining employee records and the payroll database.
  • Ownership of the HR system
  • Onboarding employees and organizing employee induction schedules.
  • Supporting Career Frameworks, HR Policies, and Staff Handbooks in collaboration with the HR Manager.
  • Processing family-friendly processes such as paternity, maternity, and parental leave.
  • Logging/tracking annual leave and absences.
  • Reporting on headcount and other relevant metrics.
  • Managing employed contractors.
  • Strengthening HR processes.
  • Engaging in various projects related to wellbeing and culture.
  • Actively seeking feedback on project outcomes.
  • Assisting with visa's and global mobility
