SalaryAHR Generalist Advisor vacancy has arisen to join a large manufacturing company at their site based near Wigston, Leicester. This business are a global manufacturer, and supplier of a wide range of high-quality products for the aerospace and defence sectors, with sites across the world they are part of the biggest Aerospace manufacturing group in the world. With a site stretching over 200,000 sq feet, they have superb manufacturing facilities ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved. Part of the Midlands Aerospace Alliance, this company retains the reputation of a market leader within the industry by attention to detail and business excellence.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support and advise the management team in all aspects of HR, including Employee Relations, Industrial Relations and Employment Law with a site of approximately 100 employees.
As the HR Generalist Advisor you will be -
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures ensuring they comply with employment legislation
- Managing and coordinating the recruitment process across two sites
- Supporting with disciplinaries, grievances and any other associated employee related meetings
- Assisting with the onboarding and induction process with all new starters
- Providing guidance and support to employees on their terms of employment and benefits, keeping them up to date with policies and procedures
- Supporting the HR Manager with implementation of workplace development and improvement projects
- Maintaining all personnel files and any other associated administrative support
To be successful in this role, you will have -
- Previous HR experience working within a manufacturing or engineering company (essential)
- A CIPD level 3 qualification minimum (preferable)
- An understanding of employment law & legislation and GDPR
- Experience using Workday, Kronos, ADP or SAP (preferable)
- A full driving licence (as some adhoc travel between sites will be required)
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills
On offer for this HR Generalist Advisor role -
- Office based working hours Monday - Friday 8am - 4:25pm
- Starting salary of £34-38k
- 33 days annual leave including stat (additional leave with long service)
