Cpl is actively recruiting for a HR Manager to join one of NIs leading Food Businesses in Craigavon.
This a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a business that continues to grow from strength to strength and is known as a trusted supplier to retailers, foodservice and food manufacturers across the island of Ireland.
Your new role
The successful HR Managerwill be commercially minded and be required to interact at all levels in the business to ensure the HR service they provide genuinely adds value to the business. They will also be incredibly important in driving a positive company culture across a range of teams, as the organisation continues to develop their strategy for the next 5 years.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the HR Manager will be part of the Senior Management Team and will operate in a stand-alone capacity responsible for all HR activities in the business.
Key duties will include:
- Managing end to end recruitment and selection
- Performance management
- Learning and development
- Managing employee relations across the business
- Manage and maintaining HR systems and records
- Advising on strategic policy development in line with customer and legal requirements.
- Employee engagement is high on the company agenda, the HR Manager will be expected to support and initiate activities to enhance employee engagement, including chairing a regular employee forum with the MD. The successful HR Manager will support senior managers to develop and drive the already successful organisational vision and values to continue to meet the needs of the business into the future.
The Candidate
- Degree and/or Chartered Membership of CIPD
- 5 plus years’ experience at HR Officer level or above
- Strong HR Generalist experience to include end to end recruitment and retention activities; learning and development and employment engagement
- Reviewing people management practices, policies and procedures in line with best practice, legislation, business requirements, customer and industry standards
- Supporting managers and supervisors in all HR activities
- Managing and maintaining HR systems and records in line with GDPR and customer audit requirements
- Providing job cover for weekly payroll processing
