Hr Officer

• Craft job descriptions, review applications, conduct inductions, and ensure compliance with right-to-work checks.
• Manage and review apprentice programs.
• Generate employment contracts for new hires.
• Keep track of probation reviews and timelines.
• Guide managers on salary, redundancy, and employment law.
• Coordinate with occupational health services.
• Formulate policies on working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary actions, and absence management.
• Assist in managing company absence protocols.
• Advise on and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Take minutes during disciplinary and grievance proceedings.
• Work with department managers to identify training needs.
• Maintain records for company benefits.
• Update the company handbook regularly.
• Promote these values within the company culture.
• Provide support to the payroll department as needed.
• Develop initiatives to improve employee relations.

Person Specification:

• Must have comprehensive, practical knowledge of Employment Law
• Prior HR experience is required.
• Strong influencing and persuading abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
