Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for an HR Officer on a permanent full-time basis, based in the Holywood area with a starting salary of £29,971 per year and staff benefits.
Our client has a global reach in the Social Care sector, offering a wide range of services that support Adults and Children with learning disabilities. This client also has an impressive site with facilities and views that truly must be seen to be believed, with over 350 staff in employment.
Working hours are Mon - Fri, 9 am to 5 pm.
Responsibilities:
With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:
- Be part of an established HR team, providing effective and accurate HR support to all levels of management and staff.
- Be involved in the delivery of HR processes such as recruitment, selection and onboarding, absence management, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances and making sure all HR activities are performed in line with internal and external policies and procedures, legislation and best practice.
Requirements:
- HR related Degree or Level 5 CIPD.
- 3 years minimum HR generalist experience.
- Employee relations case management experience.
- Experience in working side-by-side with trade unions.
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
- Sound working knowledge of MS Office packages.
- Can work under pressure, prioritise workloads, able to work accurately along with strong admin and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
