We are representing a dynamic customer experience consultancy company based in Ipswich, committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions for their clients. We are seeking a talented HR and Operations Manager to join their team and contribute to the success of the organisation.
The Role:
As the HR and Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's culture and ensuring the smooth functioning of office operations. This is a part-time position, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact while enjoying a flexible work schedule.
Human Resources:
- Manage the entire HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead strategic HR activities, including performance reviews, training plans, and fostering a collaborative and positive work culture.
- Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries and concerns from team members.
Operations:
- Take charge of day-to-day office operations, ensuring a positive working environment.
- Handle tasks such as purchasing office supplies, coordinating events (e.g., Christmas parties, QBR meetings), and other operational responsibilities.
- Proactively identify and address office-related challenges to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Perform various administrative duties to support the smooth running of the office.
What we are looking for from you
- CIPD Level 5 qualification is essential.
- Proven experience in a similar HR and Operations role, with a preference for candidates who have worked within a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Confidence and assertiveness in managing HR matters and office operations.
