Morgan Hunt are currently working with a leading FE College based in South East London who are currently seeking to appoint a full time permanent HR Skills Coach to teach, assess, coach and mentor apprentices on HR Support Level 3 and HR Consultant and Partner Level 5 Standard Apprenticeships to meet the gateway for EPA.
The HR Skills Coach will be responsible for:
- Ensuring timely achievement for every apprentice on case load across all components of the apprenticeship programme from initial sign up to gateway and completion
- Ensuring rapid progression of all learners through good teaching, accurate monitoring, progress reviews, assessment and coaching across all components
- Liaising and communicating progress with internal staff, learners and employers as required
- To develop course materials, schemes of work, lesson plans etc. ensuring these are mapped to the standards being delivered. Make these available through the colleges shared information system
The HR Skills Coach will need to have:
- Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent in the vocational area
- D32/D33, A1, Assessor qualification or be working towards the Assessor qualification
- Teaching qualification, PTTLS as a minimum or be working towards
- A minimum Level 2 standard in English and Maths or working towards
- Relevant and current experience working within the vocational sector
- Excellent practical, theoretical and knowledge of vocational specialisms
