HR Support Apprentice - 18 month programme - Sept 2024 start - c.£23k pa
Have you got what it takes for us to say ‘You’re Hired’?
Our HR Support Apprenticeship will enable you to achieve a Level 3 CIPD Certificate in People Practice. This Apprenticeship is designed to equip you with all the training and experience you need at the start of your HR career, and help you decide if there’s a specialised field you’d like to go into afterwards.
You might be just starting out in the workforce, or have recently decided on a career change, and this opportunity will enable you to gain insight into each area of Human Resources, whilst completing your qualification. You will work across our Rewards, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion functions, to name just a few. You’ll get immersed within our HR teams, supporting staff at all levels and learning from the best in the Gas business!
You don’t need to have gained any previous HR experience; just a willingness to learn, and try different things. You’ll be exposed to sensitive data, so it’s important that you maintain discretion in the workplace and have natural empathic qualities. There is a requirement to have Grade 4 or above in GCSE Maths and English.
Unfortunately if you have prior learning within HR you will not be eligible for this Apprenticeship.
What you can expect from us
We’re offering a salary of around £23,000 per annum, in line with the real living wage. You’ll get 26 days annual leave, alongside the 8 statutory bank holidays, and the option to buy more. You’ll have access to a pension scheme where we double match your contribution (maximum Company contribution of 12%), as well as a flexible benefit scheme where you can opt into a whole host of lifestyle options.
Our office is based in Warwick, and we embrace hybrid-working.
The closing date will be 17th April 2024, with interviews expected to take place at the end of April. Please note these dates are subject to change depending on the volume of applications received, so we would encourage you to get your application in as soon as possible!
We are a flexible working organisation. At National Gas, we are committed to building a workforce that represents the communities we serve. We celebrate the different experiences our colleagues bring to our organisation, and strongly encourage applicants of all backgrounds to apply.
