Job Description
The key responsibilities for the HR System Analyst are:
- Supporting all HRIS installation and updates to maintain systems that are fit for business purpose
- Support the development of the People systems, in line with the systems design principles, quality standards and best practice
- Providing first-line support to our People Services team, adhering to the service level agreements
- Reporting from all People Systems to meet business requirements
- evaluate user needs and system functionality to ensure alignment
- coordinate HRIS scheduled releases and adoption of any mandatory or elected new functionality
- ensure software licensing laws are complied with
- support any HRIS access and permissions requirements and monitor compliance with security policy
- resolve issues among multiple clients as resource constraints arise
- maintain internal knowledge and compliance with UK and European Data Protection Legislation where relevant
- offer users appropriate support and advice
- ensure training of new HR staff to support their internal user needs
- keep up to date with the latest technology developments impacting the ongoing utilisation of internal HRIS
- support the monitoring and reporting of adoption level
- with technical partners where needed, support minor configuration work associated with new releases and/or fix and streamline activity
- support with reporting requirements for HR team and wider Business
- support the development and testing of new modules into all HRIS
The Successful Applicant
The successful HR System Analyst will have:
- Understanding of staffing and business processes and their relation to HR Systems
- Strong customer service skills to communicate with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to multitask and prioritise simultaneous assignments
- Ability to complete assignments with minimal direct supervision
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Keep detailed records regarding problems, causes, decisions and resolutions
- Practical hands on experience with applications in a problem solving capacity
- Organised, efficient, with attention to detail.
- Positive 'can do' attitude.
