What is the role?

We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level HRIS (Human Resources Information System) Manager to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will possess strong man-management skills, experience of employee life cycle administration and expertise in HR systems. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the effective utilisation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our HRIS platforms.

The role will include:

HRIS Management:

  • Maintain and Improve: On going development of Persimmon Homes HRIS.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data within the systems. Develop and enforce data quality standards and processes.
  • Upgrades and Enhancements: Stay abreast of updates, fixes and enhancements for the HRIS. Coordinate communication with the relevant parties re system upgrades, patches, and improvements.

Team Leadership:

  • Man Management: Lead and mentor a team of HR administration professionals. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing development opportunities to ensure the team's success.
  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IT, Payroll the wider HR community and other departments, to align HRIS strategies with organisational goals.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Reporting Tools: Utilise reporting tools within HRIS platforms to generate meaningful insights and reports for HR and senior management.
  • Analytics: Develop and implement analytics strategies to measure HRIS performance and identify areas for improvement.

Training and Support:

  • User Training: Conduct training sessions for HR staff and end-users to maximise the effective use of HRIS platforms.
  • User Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users regarding HRIS-related issues.

Compliance and Security:

  • Compliance: Ensure HRIS systems comply with data protection regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Security: Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard sensitive HR data.

What we need from you?

  • Proven experience as an HRIS Manager
  • Experience with Select HR, Access Recruit, and Access Learning Management System, or similar software
  • Strong man-management skills with a track record of leading successful teams
  • In-depth knowledge of HR processes, data management, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from HR data
  • Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
