You will be a member of Group HR Technology within the Group Operations & Technology Office (GOTO), which is simplifying and digitizing our HR application landscape along our technology strategy. Together with your colleagues you will be focusing on providing and building Human Resources-related solutions to provide the best candidate & employee experience throughout the whole lifecycle
We’re looking for a Software Engineer to:

• design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our internal clients and employees
• apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• build observability into our solutions to monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
• continuously up-skill, learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind

You’ll be working in an agile and autonomous team in Group HR Technology in London/Pune with the option to work from home for up to two days per week

You have:

• high proficiency and 4+ years of technical experience in at least two of the following technologies / programming languages: Java, .Net, C#, ETL tools (e.g. Informatica, Azure Data Framework, Databricks), Maven, spring, Spark (Scala/Python), SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL) and noSQL database design / implementation

• strong experience in providing and integrating API’s in a service-oriented architecture

• experience of the PEGA platform, with ability to use PEGA to design and build reusable solutions across multiple lines of business

• experience of automation platform like Selenium, with ability to integrate with PEGA to design and build reusable automation solution. Understanding UNIX, basics of Java and end to end validation

• you hold a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent. Nice to have Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) or Pega Certified Lead System Architect (PCLSA). You are a strong communicator, fluent in English, from making presentations to technical writing
