Team StructureThe HRIS team is part of the overall Applications team with around 20 people working on a global scale ensuring the smooth operations of all business systems based on the internal clients' needs and specifications. The HRIS Analyst will report to the People Systems manager. In addition, the HRIS Analyst will closely liaise with the wider HR and IT teams across the globe in order to deliver a high standard of the service.
The HR function comprises of 40 people globally and is responsible for the management of all matters concerning the employment and development of our people. This involves guiding and supporting partners, managers, and all employees alike, as well as supporting the creation of an inclusive and diverse environment, enabling our people to thrive. This includes:
• Implementing our people and talent strategy in line with business objectives
• Resourcing, talent and career management
• Reward (financial and non-financial) strategy
• Policy, procedures setting and the practical application of these across the business.
- Translate business objectives and user needs into clearly written technical requirements.
- Evaluate primarily the People systems to identify points of improvement.
- Project management experience to implement improvements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop technology solutions.
- Implement HRIS process improvements and policy changes.
- Serve as the go-to subject matter expert.
- Work with HR and IT to maintain and improve the People systems' efficiency.
- Supports critical system maintenance and operational tasks within the HRIS.
- Use data to build project plans and ensure adherence to schedule and other specifications.
- Work with HR to create a reporting suite to drive analytics-based decisions making.
- Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HR system upgrades or patches.
- Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
- Provides production support, including researching and resolving HR system problems.
- Help maintaining data integrity.
- Assisting with report configuration.
- Conducts training whilst also providing guidelines and documentation.
- Maintains awareness of current trends in HR systems with a focus on product and service. development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.
- Participates in user group meetings/conferences.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Attributes/Skills Required- BA/MSc or an equivalent degree in HR or IT, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience on a similar role and/or adequate exposure on HR systems in general.
- Project experience and methodology when it comes to systems' implementations, upgrades, integrations and enhancements.
- Qualification in project management desirable.
- Desirable knowledge of any of the following platforms; CoreHR, Icims (ATS), Cornerstone SBX (SABA), Panopto, Pirical POD (Diversity), Darwin (Benefits) and Workday.
- Experience in Data analytical and data visualisation tools, Power Bi/Power Query
- Creation/configuration of reports and data analysis.
- Knowledge/Experience with SQL or PL/SQL
- Experience in data auditing.
- Strong knowledge of the overall MS package, mainly Excel & PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of GDPR standards.
- Work as part of a global team.
- Act as a SME / "Go-To" Person
- Previous experience working within a law firm desirable.
- Delivery of training to non-savvy system users.
