H&S Advisor

We're seeking an experienced and proactive H&S Advisor with a passion for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our team in the industrial and manufacturing sector. This key role requires someone with a strong background in Engineering & Manufacturing who can lead, manage, and drive H&S initiatives across our Todmorden location.

Description

• Leading, managing, and driving H&S initiatives across the company
• Providing advice and guidance on H&S matters to staff and management
• Ensuring compliance with all H&S regulations and standards within the industry
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing preventative measures
• Investigating incidents and providing reports with recommendations
• Delivering H&S training sessions to staff
• Continuously improving H&S performance through monitoring, reporting, and action planning
• Liaising with external H&S bodies and regulators

Profile

A successful H&S Advisor should have:

• Relevant education in Health and Safety or a related field
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector
• Excellent knowledge of H&S regulations and standards
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with staff, management, and external bodies
