PUBLIC APPOINTMENTS

HSC Trust Non-Executive Directors

(HSC Trust NEDS 1/24)

The Department of Health is seeking to appoint 10 Non-Executive Directors (7 Lay & 3 Finance) across the following Health and Social Care (HSC) Trusts: Belfast HSC Trust (BHSCT), Northern HSC Trust (NHSCT), South Eastern HSC Trust (SEHSCT), and the Southern HSC Trust (SHSCT).

The position of Non-Executive Director offers an exceptional opportunity for you to play a key role in helping to shape and drive the delivery of essential health and social care services and to make a positive difference to the lives of people in Northern Ireland.

It is expected that the successful candidates will take up post from January 2025.

Essential Criteria:

All applicants must show on their application form, and if invited for interview, how they meet the following essential criteria:

Working Together; and Governance & Risk Management. An additional essential criterion - Financial Management - is required for the Finance Director position.

Time Commitment & Remuneration:

1 day per week and an annual rate of remuneration of £8,883.

The period of appointment will be for a period not longer than four years.
