The H&S/CDM Consultant Role:
The successful H&S/CDM Consultant will join a dynamic and forward-thinking team in Sunderland, providing health and safety and CDM advisory services to a variety of projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across multiple sectors, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and promoting best practices in health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on health and safety and CDM regulations to clients and project teams.
- Prepare and review pre-construction information, construction phase plans, and health and safety files.
- Conduct design risk assessments and hazard elimination reviews.
- Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Deliver CDM and health and safety training to clients and design teams.
- Support the integration of health and safety into the design and construction processes.
The H&S/CDM Consultant:
- Degree in a construction-related field.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Membership with IOSH or APS is desirable.
- Proven experience in providing CDM advisory services and health and safety consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
