HSE Advisor - North West Region
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Car Allowance: £6000
Location: Manchester-based office, with travel around the North West to sites
The company is currently seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual for the position of Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor in residential construction. This role is based in the North West region, with the Altrincham office as the primary location and travel required across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, and Lancashire.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act and company procedures.
- Stays abreast of industry developments and legislative requirements related to health, safety, and environmental matters.
- Conducts site inspections and audits, providing comprehensive reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ideally holds TechSP Member of IOSH with an up-to-date IPD/CPD diary.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or a willingness to undergo additional training.
- Brings experience in the construction industry, particularly in site safety inspections and IMS audits.
Skills:
- As a Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor, you must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, engaging professionally with customers.
- Delivers in-house training and toolbox talks.
