HSE Coordinator
We are recruiting for an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator on a full-time permanent basis for a specialised manufacturer of construction products, based in South Herefordshire. Our client has a new facility and is looking to build a new team.
What you can expect:

• Competitive Salary (DOE) + Pension
• 8am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
• 23 days per annum plus Bank holidays

What you will be doing:

• Work with and support the HSE Manager
• Assist with implementing and supporting the HSE management system
• Following guidance, conducting on-site Risk Assessments and on-going review of current risk assessments
• Implement health and safety policies & procedures as directed by HSE Manager and Factory Manager
• In conjunction with the HSE Manager, deliver, conduct and/or co-ordinate appropriate health and safety training programmes
• Maintain a comprehensive training record on each employee
• Support the HSE Manager in maintaining databases re: Chemicals; PPE; Legal Register
• Liaise with operations on a daily basis to ensure site compliance
• Site assessments, internal auditing keeping daily/weekly records

What we are looking for:

• You will have had experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing environment
• Previous experience working with a wider HSE team
• Excellent IT skills
• Ability to demonstrate competency in across HSE matters
• The ideal candidate will hold an IOSH Managing Safely certification
