Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a fast-paced manufacturer in Barnsley who are looking for a HSE Coordinator to join the business. Reporting into the HSE Manager, this role will have responsibility for an area of the manufacturing site in promoting a positive culture and ensuring compliance.

The business are looking for a NEBOSH qualified HSE Coordinator who can bring new and innovative ideas spanning not just across the safety of employees but also environmental and sustainability issues.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
Ensure legal compliance to HSE legislation through developing and maintaining policies and procedures
Drive process improvement initiatives in support of HSE performance across site
To support all divisions in HSE matters by giving appropriate advice and support when required
Create Group standards e.g. PPE and Contractors, and monitor compliance
Create and update HSE processes and documentation
Produce and deliver regular HSE communication include Tool Box Talks and Safety Alerts as required
Spread best practice and consistency across the business
Work with the Production teams to overcome operational issues relating to HSE
Monitor HSE legislation updates and put forward chances to company systems as required
Make arrangements and oversee HSE training and Occupation Health visits
Ensure Accident, Incidents and Near Misses are reported, investigated and provide analysis on these
Support and chair monthly HSE meetings

NEBOSH Certificate
Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills
Sound compliance knowledge - ISO45001/14001 and auditing
