Job Description
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement HSE strategies and policies in alignment with industry standards
- Conduct safety audits and investigations to identify potential risks and ensure compliance
- Lead and train the team on HSE policies to foster a safety-conscious culture
- Implementation and maintenance of HSE and energy policies (ISO14001, ISO 45001, ISO5001)
- Liaise with regulatory bodies regarding HSE matters
- Manage and maintain HSE documentation and reporting procedures
- Implement and monitor environmental sustainability initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture within the organisation
The Successful Applicant
The successful Health, Safety & Environment Manager will possess:
- Relevant qualifications in health, safety, and environmental management
- Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector (plastics advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective HSE strategies
