Job Description
- π Plan and implement cutting-edge safety programs to set industry standards. π οΈ
- π Ensure compliance with EH&S issues and management systems (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001). π
- π Identify and drive continual improvement in health & safety practices. π
- π€ Lead H&S committee meetings and advise on all health & safety issues and legislative implications. π
- π¨ Oversee accident statistics collation for Leeds, ensuring incidents are investigated and corrective actions implemented. π΅οΈββοΈ
- π Liaise with authorities to ensure all legal requirements are met. π
- π Drive a comprehensive Audit and Risk Assessment program to mitigate risks. π
- π Empower management and employees to embrace health & safety tools and practices. π‘
- π Provide H&S refresher training to develop and maintain awareness. π
- π Handle all health & safety related insurance claims and complete necessary reports. βοΈ
The Successful Applicant
- π Holds a NEBOSH Diploma and has at least 2 years of experience in a HSE role.
- π§ Knowledgeable in implementing and maintaining ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
- π Skilled in identifying and driving continuous improvement in health and safety practices.
- π£οΈ Possesses excellent organisational and communication skills.
- π« Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- π» Competent in using IT tools to enhance HSE management and reporting.
- π Has a driving license, indicating flexibility and mobility.
- π (Desirable) Electrical experience and background in manufacturing, enhancing the candidate's ability to address specific industry challenges.
