HSEQ Administrator - Kilmarnock
Boyd Recruitment are currently working alongside one of the leading companies operating in energy, renewable and telecommunication. Due to a promotion, our client is looking to recruit an HSEQ Administrator.
Our client s core business largely focuses on the Transmission and Distribution Energy Sector and as HSEQ Administrator you will work closely with the HSEQ Manager.
The Job
The purpose of this role is to ensure administrative support is provide to the HSEQ Manager.
Key Tasks & Accountabilities
- To promote and assist maintenance of a positive Companywide health, safety, and environmental culture.
- Provide analysis for site safety statistics.
- Have a working knowledge and understanding of the Safety statement and statutory regulations.
- Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Attending meetings, taking minutes, and keeping notes
- Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts
- Photocopying and printing various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues
- Data Entry
- Producing letters and reports as required.
- Devising and maintaining office systems
- Organising and storing paperwork, documents, and computer-based information
- Other general admin tasks on a day-to-day basis that arise.
- Provide administrative support for HSEQ including induction, Occupational Health Co-Ordination, training.
The Person
The successful HSEQ Administrator will have an administration background.
Qualifications:
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office and Word
- Good Excel skills (Essential)
- English & Maths, academic achievement (Essential)
- National 5 (N5)/GCSE s Maths and English
