Whole Life Pathways - Supporting Mental Health

Join our AMHP Hub team as a dedicated and compassionate Approved Mental Health Professional! We are seeking an individual who is conscientious, committed, and brings expertise to our innovative Hub & Spoke service model.

Our team is committed to delivering exceptional Mental Health support, emphasising independence and collaboration with partner agencies. We are looking for a key contributor to fulfil the vital statutory AMHP function within specified hours, including the 24-hour Emergency Duty Service (EDS).

The working pattern for Hub AMHPs consists of three days (12-hour shifts) per week, providing flexibility in managing assessments and reports. While owing a small amount of time each week, this is manageable and can be offset against Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) or used for training and key meetings. Daytime AMHPs also have the option for a Casual Contract with EDS for additional shifts.

Our innovative approach includes a core team of Hub AMHPs dedicated solely to AMHP-related duties, supported by spoke rota AMHPs and overseen by an AMHP Manager and Mental Health Act Coordinator, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment.

As a Hub AMHP, you will collaborate with colleagues to respond to enquiries and referrals promptly. Your responsibilities include assessments under the Act, engaging in CTO and Guardianship work, participating in Mental Health 'Breathing Space' activities, and occasionally taking on the AMHP Triage role.

To be successful, you must hold a recognised and relevant professional qualification and be registered with your professional body. As a qualified and experienced AMHP, your expert knowledge of relevant legislation and understanding of Mental Health practices will contribute to our service's success.

Join us in making a positive impact on Mental Health in Wiltshire. Apply now to be a vital part of our dedicated team at the forefront of Mental Health support!
