Coordinating and leading Safety Critical Task screening workshops to involve stakeholders in the Assessment process and facilitate peer reviewCollaborating closely with site Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) and High Hazard teams to champion cutting-edge practices in high hazard risk categorisationReporting and reviewing findings and recommendations to the Applicable Technical Authorities agreeing and recording appropriate actions to ensure sufficient safeguards are in placePerforming hierarchical task analysis and human failure analysis, unlocking insights to enhance safety protocolsEngaging in the continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) through review and refinementPartnering with Engineering teams to ensure robust identification and control of Safety Critical Tasks, seamlessly integrating these into SOPsSupporting the Basis of Safety through the execution of diverse responsibilitiesYour skills and experiences:Essential:Knowledge and experience of the Human Factors methods involved in safety assessments for high hazard processesCompetency and proficiency of Human Factors methods involved in the design lifecycle of process, plant, and equipmentExperience of providing Human Factors expertise to accident or incident investigationsDesirable:Human Factors qualificationWorking towards Chartership, or qualified to become chartered through a relevant institution (e.g. CIEHF)Experience in a relevant industry such as engineering/manufacturingBenefits:You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
