Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and a passion for supporting HR initiatives. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a key role in providing administrative support to the HR department and assisting with various HR functions.
Duties:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Conduct new hire orientations and assist with onboarding processes
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of data in HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrolment and answering employee inquiries
- Assist with training and development initiatives, including scheduling training sessions and tracking attendance
- Conduct data entry and generate reports.
- Manage the HR department's social media accounts to promote company culture and job opportunities
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and maintaining files
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software systems
- Proficient in English (Speaking and Writing)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with employees at all levels
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
