Human Resources Assistant

Do you have the skills to help us in managing our recruitment campaigns and ensuring candidates have an exceptional experience? We are seeking a digitally confident and detail-oriented individual to join our Employee Experience team as Human Resources Assistant on a fixed term basis.
The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week, with duties commencing 3rd June 2024 and ending 31st December 2024. Working hours, days and start date may be negotiated for the right candidate. The main duties of the role include:
- adding recruitment adverts to our HR information system (iTrent), ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines.
- processing candidate applications and tracking their progress
- screening interview schedules and sharing invitations with candidates
- supporting managers, headteachers and candidates
This is a hybrid eligible role, so if you have a suitable workspace at home, with adequate broadband, you will have the option of working from home as opposed to the contractual work location of Canolfan Rheidol, Aberystwyth. To successfully undertake the role our ideal candidate must have:
- good communication skills in both Welsh and English
- excellent IT skills and the ability to use all MS Office applications
- good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- the ability to work under pressure and to work within tight deadlines
