I am recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join a GP as the Head of HR. The primary responsibilities include overseeing Human Resources operations on a daily basis, implementing effective Human Resources programs and initiatives, and ensuring alignment with business goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Align HR initiatives with overall business strategies to develop and execute successful HR strategies.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, retain, and promote a diverse workforce.
- Develop, engage, motivate, and retain human capital to support current and future business needs.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation.
- Manage a performance appraisal system that promotes high performance.
- Identify training needs to implement and monitor training programs.
- Provide decision support to management by reporting HR metrics.
- Ensure that Human Resources management is legally compliant.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- A background in the NHS is essential
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 certification is required.
- Proven HR management or executive experience.
- In-depth knowledge of UK labour laws and HR best practices.
- Relevant experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in a GP Practice or similar environment.
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and human resource information systems.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
