Day-to-day of the role:- Delivering engaging and informative lessons across the humanities curriculum.
- Encouraging students to explore cultural, social, political, and historical contexts of various regions and times.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Developing and adapting teaching materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborating with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons and departmental activities.
- Participating in school events and contributing to the school community.
- Staying current with educational research and pedagogy related to humanities education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in a relevant humanities subject.
- Experience in teaching humanities subjects at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the humanities curriculum and pedagogical best practices.
