Integra Education are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join a team of dedicated professionals at a co-educational secondary school with a strong reputation for providing an excellent education to our students for a September start.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching History or Geography to students of varying abilities, from Key Stage 3 to GCSE with the potential of teaching A-Level.
You will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, and provide feedback and support to students.

Responsibilities:

• Teach History or Geography to students of varying abilities


• Deliver high-quality lessons, including lesson planning, marking, and assessment


• Monitor student progress and provide feedback and support to students


• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve Humanities teaching and learning


• Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum and schemes of work


• Participate in school events and activities, including parents' evening

Requirements:

• A degree in History, Geography, or a related subject


• A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)


• Experience of teaching Humanities to students of varying abilities


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team


• Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills


• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
