Hv Electrical Supervisor- Horsham

I am looking for an experienced HV Electrical Supervisorto work in the Crawley area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.

Role: HV Electrical Supervisor

Location: Crawley

Contract: Freelance

Rate: £350-400 per day (LTD)

Duties will include:

• Ensuring that all relevant health and safety documents are correctly recorded.
• Checking that all relevant documents adequately describe the work to be carried out.
• Supervising work to ensure that it is carried out in accordance with method statements and work instructions from the project manager.
• Recording the progress of works on record drawings or other suitable means when required.
• Actively supporting the Site Manager to maintain and enforce Safety, Health & Environment standards are maintained and safe systems of work are adhered to.
• Understanding of technical MEICA works
• Control panels and control systems experience
• Supervision of site Electrical installations
• Ensuring a high-quality product is being produced in line with current standards and specifications.
• Verification of new electrical systems
• As Electrical Appointed Person, ensure electrical safety rules are adhered to and supporting documentation is produced in line with CMDP electrical safety rules.
• Carry out electrical isolations, regular electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipment.
• Safe isolation of LV electrical systems.

Skills Required:

• SSSTS or SMSTS
• FAAW
• ECS card
• C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations
• NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations
• IEE 18th edition wiring regs
• 2391 Test and Inspect - Preferred

Skills Desirable:

• Ambitious and dynamic personality
• Experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries
• Someone with a commitment to right first time
• Ideally have 5 years water experience
• Ambitious and dynamic personality
• Strong leadership and a commitment for delivering excellence
