This role is perfect for an experienced and dedicated HVAC Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing projects, and managing a team of engineers.
Job Duties:
- Supervise and manage the HVAC team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve department efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee all HVAC projects/ quoted works from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to define project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the HVAC team, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies, techniques, and regulations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Prepare and manage the HVAC department budget, including forecasting and financial planning.
- Track expenses and ensure cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure all HVAC work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies
- Promote a culture of safety within the department, conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC management or a similar role.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as HVAC design software,
project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. - Valid HVAC certification
- Full UK driving Licence
