- Participates in the technical meetings with the suppliers relating to HVAC Equipment.
- Attends the F.A.T. (Factory Acceptance Test) for HVAC equipment and plants when needed.
- Performs periodic visits on board Vessels during operation periods and dry-docks.
- Maintains records of parts and materials used; estimates and orders materials and equipment.
- Provides updates on new HVAC technologies and evaluation of their applicability on board the Ships.
- Analysis and approvals of new buildings design, upgrades of HVAC and ventilation systems and technical specifications for new buildings;
- Planning and coordination of maintenance activity.
- Creation and upgrade of standard procedures for maintenance management of spare parts requests.
- Surveys and inspections on vessels.
- Assist in the control of budgets in order to maintain equipment operation and availability.
