Hydraulic Fitter

Next Generation are pleased to have been appointed to recruit for a Hydraulic Fitter to work with a well-established engineering company based near Cradley Heath. The Hydraulic Fitter will be responsible for improving the up time of hydraulic press systems, manipulators, and hammers.
Working hours for the Hydraulic Fitter:Week one (6am
14:00pm Monday
Friday)Week two (11.00am
19.30pm Monday
Thursday, with a 17:00pm finish on Fridays)
Whats on offer for the Hydraulic Fitter:Competitive salary up to £37,000 p.a. (DOE)
Duties of the Mechanical Hydraulic Fitter:Improving the uptime of the presses, hammers and manipulators by:o
Building relationships with equipment OEMs and contractors in order to maximise the opportunity out-of-hours and during shutdown periods.o
Updating and managing the TPM system for the hydraulic presses, hammers and manipulators.Flexibility to work around production requirements.Management of presses and manipulators critical spares stockUpdating systems so to prevent from part obsolescenceContinuous improvement in hydraulic oil usage and costs.Engineering support across site.
The successful candidate for the Hydraulic Fitters position will have the following experience:3
5 years experience working with hydraulic systems (Essential)3
5 years experience managing on-site contractors (Essential)Management of stock control (Essential)Ability to work under pressure (Essential)
