Hygiene Assistant
£12.09 per hour
PM Shift 2pm - 10pm
40 hours per week - 5/7 days
The purpose of the role is the cleaning of specified areas of work within the department.

Key knowledge & behaviours:
- Assist in carrying out all cleaning operations within the Department in accordance with cleaning schedules.
- The control of all cleaning materials (e.g., equipment, chemicals etc.) within the department
- Ensuring that all approved methods and systems with regard to food handling/hygiene are adhered to within the department, in order to prevent contamination/spoilage of product.
- Maintaining the highest level of general cleanliness in accordance with departmental cleaning schedules
- Ensuring that all equipment, fixtures, and fittings are maintained in good working order and are used in the approved manner.
- Ensuring that all areas of work are kept clean and tidy
- Adherence to company policy, systems, and procedures with reference to safety, food hygiene, personal hygiene and security.
- Any other duties as requested by line management
- Excellent reading, writing and mathematical skills
- Good communication skills, able to ask questions, seek and clarify information
- Demonstrative enthusiasm to learn new experiences and be supportive of and part of a hard working team
- Keenness to be productive, adding value to their team and explore and exploit all self development opportunities
- Enthusiasm to undertake all blended learning opportunities and undertake all organised training sessions
