Hygiene Deep Clean Operator

Here at Atherstone, we have a team of around 580 colleagues. We produce Sandwiches, Wraps, Rolls, Bircher pots, and Toasties for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Aldi, Costa, and many more.
Contract Type: Permanent - Fulltime
Shift Pattern/Time: Any 5/7, 14:00 - 22:00
Rate: 13.37 per hour
Location: Greencore, Carlyon Road Industrial Estate, 7, Carlyon Rd, Atherstone CV9 1LQ

What you'll be doing

• You will work as a part of a dynamic team to achieve the Deep Cleaning of all areas of the manufacturing environment and processing equipment and be expected to maintain a safe working environment following safe working practices.
• Ensure chemicals are used and stored correctly
• Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Manager
• Carry out hygiene activities when needed in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity
• Promote good health, safety, and environmental culture within the department

What we're looking for

• Strict adherence to written approved procedures for hygiene tasks, with attention to completing logbook entries by company standards.
• Promotion of a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness within the department.
• Effective communication abilities, both in reading and writing
• Has a keen eye for detail and can demonstrate working in a safe manner and to good H&S practices
• Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative
• Able to follow management instructions and procedures
• Basic Awareness of Health and Safety
