In this role you will be leading the site's hygiene department at Kettleby Foods to ensure that cleaning is completed to a high standard in all areas of the site. You will also be responsible for achieving and reporting on KPIs around both hygiene and environmental factors, identifying gaps and putting actions into place to address these. You will be the lead for hygiene in delivering customer expectations and also in representing the department during audit processes to demonstrate your knowledge and proactive, measured approach to Hygiene onsite.
Key Responsibilities :
- To lead the continuous development of the Health, Safety and Environmental culture
- Be responsible for a hygiene management system which supports good manufacturing practice and achieves compliance with our customer’s Code of Practice and industry standards, BRCGS and legislative requirements.
- Build a capable team with regular review meetings to monitor performance and identify future talent
- Manage day to day information flow so that immediate issues are resolved as rapidly as possible and best practises shared amongst the wider operational population
- Support the responsible business and sustainability agenda for site, including project work and support for other projects.

- Experience of leading large diverse teams in a fast moving, chilled food manufacturing environment
- HACCP Level 3
- Food Safety Level 3
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Excellent numeracy and literacy and an ability to collate, monitor and make decisions based on data
