My Client is a well-established independent Food Manufacturer based in a beautiful location in North Hampshire
 
They are now looking to appoint an experienced Hygiene Manager at their Flagship site.  The Hygiene Manager will report to the Operations Manager. The role will involve managing a team of up to 30 Hygiene operatives and the Daytime Housekeeping Operation
 
The site is 24*7 and the Hygiene Operatives operate between 10am - 6:30am.  Within the role 3 Hygiene Supervisors will support you
 
The role will involve:
·Ensure that safe standards of hygiene are maintained throughout the site and the cleanliness level achieved exceeds legislator, client and customer requirements.
·To lead the Night Hygiene team in line with Company policies and procedures.
·Create and implement cleaning schedules ensuring full compliance,
·Full understanding and experience of retailers code of practice
·To complete investigations as and when required.
·To ensure employees within the team are managed and trained in accordance with company requirements. Carry out performance reviews ensuring the staff have the right skills to cover all hygiene tasks in the factory.
·Monitor, review and apply corrective actions for diverging KPIs.
 
 
Experience Required:
·Intermediate HACCP
·COSHH essential
·Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate
·Food Safety Certificate
·Previous management experience essential and must have strong team building skills
·Experience within a Hygiene Department in the food industry
·Strong leadership qualities and effective methods of communication.
